If you love beautiful art work of America's western frontier, especially when the west was being first explored and still unspoiled, this is the book for you. Thomas Moran is by far the best painter of the American west, or of any landscape. It is amazing to me, that one person was so talented, that his paintings can actually make you feel that you are at the scene yourself. Moran's paintings are truly breath taking. You will be amazed at Moran's skill in painting these scenes. You have to look at Moran's work to understand what I am saying. If you are looking for a book to see wild, and beautiful places, then I highly recommend this book to you. You will not be disappointed.
