To mark International Press Freedom Day in 1999, Reporters Sans Frontieres launched this album of photographs that make up this book to help imprisoned journalists worldwide. Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of the greatest photographers of the century, if not the greatest, contributed the pictures that make up the album. The preface is by Robert Badinter, the person responsible for eliminating the death penalty in France, and the introduction by Wei Jingsheng, China's best-known activist at the time. Read more
